My Radical Birth Philosophy
rad·i·cal
/ˈradək(ə)l/
late Middle English (in the senses ‘forming the root’ and ‘inherent’): from late Latin radicalis, from Latin radix, radic- ‘root’.
Birth is NOT a medical event but rather a
Rite of Passage.
Preparation for birth is a deeply inward and personal journey, where a woman finds her inner most truth and learns to trust herself.
The environment and people she chooses to have at her birth are deeply significant and impactful to her ability to access her bodily wisdom needed to birth her baby.
Death and Birth are twin sisters. To meet one you have to meet the other. Facing our fears around death is an integral part of the birth preparation stage.
Integration of the birth experience holds a lifetimes worth of unfolding and learning. NO matter the outcome of a birth, it is sacred and worth cherishing for the medicine it offers the mother, the child, and and the community who holds them.
If these values align with yours then I would love to connect with you.
